The Global Citizenship Organization (GCO) brings together international and American students for cultural exchange and social activities.
Maryville College operates, with volunteer support, a "Global Connections" program that helps international students interact with Americans in our local community. Volunteer host families are matched with interested students; these families provide extra support, home visits from time to time, and other aid to help the students feel welcomed in our community. The Peer Partner Program is another special program for international students where each new international student is matched with an American student or returning international student prior to arrival to help them learn about the campus and prepare for arrival.
