Meet Your Coordinator

Mrs. Maryvonne Charlery is originally from Martinique and has a passion for international exchanges. She was a professor of English on the Martinique campus but moved to the international relations office after partaking in a professorship exchange to James Madison University. Mrs. Charlery enjoys US American and Canadian culture and welcoming US American and other students to UAG; she has visited the US and Canada several times. She is also well-connected and respected on each of the campuses, which makes resolving problems and finding information quite easy. Mrs. Charlery is headquartered on Campus Fouillole in Guadeloupe with other executive officials. In order to carry out her work on the other campuses, she has correspondents on each campus and works with representatives within each faculty. She also has student assistants with international experience available to help incoming students and has put past ISEP participants in touch with other outgoing and incoming ISEP students.
Mrs. Charlery organizes a number of activities for international students, including:
- Pick-up from airport upon arrival
- Extensive orientation program including cultural and academic information, safety, course registration, campus & city tour, shopping excursions, and visits to local areas of interest
