Special Academic Conditions
Wesley College offers an extensive Academic support services network available to international students, which include a writing center, study hall, individual tutors as well as seminars to further support each student.

Language Notes
A Language Proficiency report may be accepeted in lieu of the TOEFL. ISEP participants whose first language is not English need an official or institutional TOEFL score of 525 (200 CBT, 74 iBT), an IELTS band score of 6.0, or an ISEP Language Proficiency Report. All classes are taught in English. Wesley College has a number of bilingual faculty members and offer several non English foreign language classes each semester.

Profile
Founded in 1873 as a preparatory school, Wesley College is the first private college in the first state of the USA. The College offers 30 bachelors, four associates, and master's degrees in nursing, education, business administration and environmental science in a multi-denominational, multi-cultural campus setting.

Most of the College's 2,400 students (1,400 traditional) come from the Middle Atlantic region. Wesley attracts students interested in a personal approach to learning, with a 17:1 student to faculty ratio. The Wesley College campus is wireless with a strong computer and library network and nationally recognized sports programs competing under the NCAA guidelines. International students are invited to join any of the 50 clubs and participate in a great variety of student activities and shows.

The International Student Association run by the students themselves, welcome all students to participate in activities and trips throughout each semester.

Location
Wesley College and its athletic facilities are located on 50 acres in historic Dover, Delaware. Dover is the capital of the nation's first state and has 35,000 residents. The campus is situated in Dover's major residential community with stores and banks in easy walking distance and malls a short commute. Most academic programs support a club such as our award winning SIFE program, or offer excursions, off campus learning sites as for marine science taking advantage of our proximity to the Delaware and Chesapeake Bays. In addition to being the site of many pre-Revolutionary War buildings and sites, Dover is also the home of Dover Air Force Base and Dover Downs International Speedway, which hosts two annual NASCAR races. Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., are within a two hour drive, New York City just 3 hours away and the beaches are less than an hours' drive.
