Intensive Spanish Language Course (Curso Intensivo de Español: CIE)
Spend four weeks studying intensive Spanish in the dazzling capital of Argentina. Visit acclaimed museums, porteño suburbs, cinemas, theaters, and tango shows. Sample world-famous steaks and enjoy the urban lifestyle of Buenos Aires, a city that continuously celebrates its vibrant traditions and expansive growth. Students on this summer language program (Curso Intensivo de Español: CIE) offered by Universidad del Salvador will develop and strengthen their Spanish communication skills while taking advantage of several field trips that encourage students to learn about the history, culture, and people of Argentina.

ISEP-Direct Summer for all ISEP member students
Curso Intensivo de Español (CIE) is a four-week summer program totaling 100 hours (usually 6 US credits, depending on the home university's transfer policy). Classes meet Monday through Friday from 1:30 - 5:30 pm (with coffee breaks every day from 3:30 - 4:00 pm). Spanish language classes are small, personalized, and offered from the beginning to advanced levels. The following is a brief outline of the program schedule:
Day 1: Orientation, Welcome Lunch and Beginning of classes
Day 2: City tour and coursework
Day 3: Coursework and visit to a Museum
Day 6 – 10: Coursework
Day 10: Cinema
Day 13 – 17: Coursework
Day 17: Tango Experience
Day 20 – 24: Coursework
Day 24: Theater play
Day 28 – 29: Coursework
Day 30: End of classes. Final exam.

1. Salvador: Intensive Spanish Language Course – ISEP Direct
Before arrival, students take Universidad del Salvador's online language exam and are interviewed by Spanish evaluators via videoconference. The university then places students in the appropriate course level (beginning, elementary, low intermediate, high intermediate) based on the results of the language assessment. Note: The host institution ultimately determines proficiency level and course eligibility.

Universidad del Salvador is one of Argentina's most highly regarded institutions. Facilities include classroom and administration buildings, computer labs, bookstores, and libraries. The university also has a campus at Pilar (50 km from central Buenos Aires) where students may take some classes and enjoy a suburban atmosphere. Total enrollment: 20,000 (including 400 exchange students per year).
