SUMMER SNAPSHOT

Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore offers a summer session for students wanting to make the most of a summer in Italy while receiving credits for courses in a variety of topics. Students can take courses in business; media and communications; or Italian language and culture on the Milan campus. Agribusiness and food science courses are offered on the Piacenza campus.

PROGRAM TYPE

ISEP-Direct Summer for all ISEP member students

COURSES

Students will be able to choose from the following different areas listed below and combine them to create either a 4 week program or a 6 week program.

Session A: June 15 - June 26

Business (Milan Campus) : Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship
Media and Communications (Milan Campus): New Frontiers in Brand Communication and Consumer Engagement OR Television, Advertising and Music: the Italian Approach to the Media
Italian Language and Culture (Milan Campus): Beginner OR Elementary Italian
Agribusiness and Food Sciences (Piacenza Campus): The Global Wine Market: Trends and Strategies

Session B: June 29 - July 10

Business (Milan Campus): Social and Eco Entrepreneurship in Italy
Media and Communications (Milan Campus): Sustainable Food and Green Communication: a New Marketing Perspective
Italian Language and Culture (Milan Campus): Beginner OR Elementary Italian
Agribusiness and Food Sciences (Piacenza Campus): Food Production

Session C: July 13 - July 24

Business (Milan Campus): Entrepreneurial Finance
Media and Communications (Milan Campus): From Taste to Glamour: Luxury Goods and Fashion Brands in a Visual Culture
Italian Language and Culture (Milan Campus): Elementary Italian

Please note: Students can select only one course per session. All students have the option to add the Survival Italian Language Course to their selected program.

Contact hours & credits:

    • Each 2 week session: Monday to Friday / 45 contact hour per session / 3 US credits each course
    • Extra/optional Survival Italian Language Course: 12 contact hour per session / non credit-bearing

SPECIAL ACADEMIC CONDITIONS

Undergraduate and graduate students who have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies are eligible.

International students who are non-native speakers of English must submit a minimum TOEFL score of 80 iBT or an IELTS score of 6.

6 week: $8,250
Includes tuition and housing.

HOUSING AND MEALS

Students live in shared apartments off campus. Meals are not included, but Milan has many fine cafés and restaurants.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES

In addition to the courses, students will have the option to join extra-curricular activities, and trips to various Italian regions.
