Programs and Costs


ISEP-Direct Overview

ISEP-Direct fee-paid programs offer access to over 30 universities in 20 countries and are marked with a D in the Directory descriptions. Often, if ISEP-Exchange space isn’t available, you will find ISEP-Direct as an option at that university. For ISEP-Direct, you pay a fee to ISEP based on the actual cost of operating the program at the host university.

FEES AMOUNT INFORMATION & REFUND POLICY
ISEP-Direct Application Fee
(academic year, semester, or summer)
$60 Submitted with the application to your on-campus ISEP Coordinator.  This is a non-refundable application fee.
  ISEP-Direct Dual Application Fee
(two different consecutive semester programs)

$120 ($60 + $60)
Two consecutive semester placements at different sites such as fall semester in Australia, followed by a spring semester in Thailand. Payable by check to ISEP and should be submitted with the application to your on-campus ISEP Coordinator. 
ISEP-Exchange & ISEP-Direct Dual Application Fee
(two different consecutive semester programs)
$375 ($315 + $60) For students applying for two consecutive semester programs; one semester or summer ISEP-Exchange and one semester or summer ISEP-Direct.
ISEP-Direct Deposit $500 Due within one month of notification of acceptance to the ISEP-Direct program.  Payable by check to your on-campus ISEP Coordinator.  This is applied toward the program fee.

Final invoice will be sent to your home campus ISEP Coordinator approximately one month prior to departure.  Payable by check to your Coordinator.
ISEP-Direct Placement Extension Fee $100 Payable if you later decide to extend your ISEP-Direct placement from a semester to a full-year placement. You will submit the fee with the request for extension documentation. This fee will count toward the Program Fee total amount.

Please talk to your on-campus ISEP Coordinator for complete details on fees and payment procedures.  Personal checks from students are acceptable, but should always be submitted to the on-campus ISEP Coordinator; a fee of $30 will be assessed for returned checks. Applications will not be processed until the applications fee has been received.  Note: Application fees will be refunded in the case of applicants who are reservists and are called-up for active-duty military service.
