ISEP-Direct provides the opportunity to enroll directly in a host institution abroad instead of exchanging places. Chances of placement are usually excellent for qualified applicants, so you and a friend can study together. Some sites offer special academic programs and excursions only through ISEP-Direct. All students from all ISEP-Direct members and ISEP-Exchange members (both US and International) can participate in ISEP-Direct programs.
- The program fee covers tuition, orientation, student services abroad, and often room and meals.
- Financial aid usually applies for US students. Check with your home university for details.
- Deposits and program fees may be submitted by check or by credit card using the Student Payment Form.

If you are applying for two consecutive semester placements at different sites, $100 will be credited as a deposit against the first semester’s program fee; the remaining $375 will be credited as a deposit against the second semester’s program fee. If one of the two semesters is an ISEP Exchange reciprocal placement, $375 will be charged as the Exchange placement fee, and the remaining $100 will be credited as a deposit against the Direct program fee. |

Final invoice will be sent to your home campus ISEP Coordinator approximately one month prior to departure. Payment due before program start date, payable by check to your Coordinator. |
| ISEP-Direct Placement Extension Fee | $100 | Students who applied for a one-semester program and wish to extend for a second semester should submit $100 with the application for extension. This fee will be credited as a deposit against the second semester program fee. |
