ISEP-Direct USA Overview
The ISEP-Direct USA program at participating member institutions in the United States offers fee-based study abroad opportunities for students coming to the United States from international ISEP member and affiliate institutions.
Who should apply?
- Students from international ISEP members and Affiliate institutions
- Students who want to study English as a Second Language in addition to regular academic courses OR
- Students proficient in English who want to enroll in regular academic courses
What is ISEP-Direct USA?
Two options to study abroad in the United States:
- Students with sufficient English language (or other accepted English language test) scores can enroll in full-time undergraduate courses at most USA ISEP-Direct sites.
- Students who do not meet English language requirements for full- time undergraduate enrollment can take some academic classes with American students in addition to ESL. The exact number of regular academic classes and ESL classes is determined by the host institution based on the student’s level of English language proficiency.
How long can I participate?
- One semester
- One academic year
- One summer and one semester combined (at some sites)
