Profile
The University of the Pacific is a private institution, enrolling approximately 6,400 students on three campuses. The main campus in Stockton, CA facilitates undergraduate education for 3,501 students. About 84 percent of the students come from California and 140 foreign students are enrolled. Approximately 59 percent of the students live on campus.

The University Center contains a variety of dining services, a gaming room, bookstore, and a ball room/events center. A theatre and grocery store are also located on campus. Athletic facilities include an Olympic-sized swimming pool, the 6,000-seat Spanos Center, and a fitness center.

Location
Pacific is located in Stockton, a medium-sized city surrounded by farms, orchards and ranches in agricultural north-central California, 90 miles southeast of San Francisco. There are 1,000 miles of waterways in the vicinity where students can enjoy fishing, water skiing, or boating. The campus of ivy-covered brick buildings set on 150 acres of land is both a close-knit community and a part of the surrounding residential neighborhood. Theaters, restaurants and shopping centers are within walking distance.
