Hints for Researching Courses
From the UCLAN website, go to this page and select the field of study you are interested in. This will bring up the general content covered in that program (a “course” in the UK = a “degree program” or “major”). To find specific module descriptions, open the relevant PDF and sort through the listings: Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Social Science Classes; Faculty of Health Classes; Faculty of Management Classes; Faculty of Science & Technology Classes. Important Note: When going through the module descriptions, students must choose modules that say “semester one” or “semester two” according to the semester they plan to attend. Semester applicants should not select modules listed as “full year” as these are only available for students spending the full academic year at UCLAN. Further, students should only choose modules that are offered at University Main Campus (9) and they cannot choose modules that have a course code starting with 4 as this designates graduate level.
