Academic Notes
Class participation and social debate reign supreme as KU's domestic tradition of excellence converges with diverse international students and scholars. The KU Ambassadorial Series allows study abroad students to meet top world diplomats. Other guest speeches are frequent; 25 percent of CEOs and politicians in Korea are KU alumni. English fluency is required of new faculty and 50 visiting professors from top schools are invited to KU each year.
Language Notes
About 30 percent of KU's courses are taught in English. All courses offered by the Division of International Studies and Graduate School of International Studies are taught in English. A Korean language program is available with instruction at six different levels, plus intensive writing and reading classes (included in ISEP benefits).
