Alumni Development Fund

Over 31,000 U.S. and international students have participated in ISEP programs. Many have expressed an interest in retaining ties with the organization and their peers in order to continue to share knowledge gained from their experiences abroad and to explore career opportunities. New technologies now provide ISEP with the opportunity not only to develop, but also to sustain an ISEP alumni and career services network. Former ISEP participants will be able to register online and maintain their own profile. Prospective employers will have access to this database as they search for employees with international experience and global competence.

This initiative is new and will be approached in stages. The long-term benefits should be significant. Ultimately, ISEP will have a comprehensive alumni and job search network to serve the needs of alumni and the business community. The network will:

Enable alumni to remain in touch with old friends and to help each other in the real world. ISEP will encourage alumni to reflect upon their experiences to understand how their exchanges have affected them (initially their academic life and their personal attitudes to the rest of the world and later their decisions about what they will do when they finish their current degrees).
Lead to the development of a career assistance program, which will serve both alumni and the business community.
Involve alumni with ISEP as mentors to potential and ongoing exchange students.
Help ISEP promote its programs to potential participants.

ISEP Alumni Development Fund (Friend $500)

ISEP will recognize contributions to the ISEP Alumni Development Fund on the ISEP Web site and Annual Report. Supporters who donate $1,000 or more will also receive a link from the ISEP Web site to their Web site.
