Some of the most 'energized' connections were over the tables at the member fairs!

Splashes of color and the hum of active networking greeted conference participants as they entered the ISEP large member fair room. The rows of tables, staffed by the respective Coordinators and adorned with university banners and posters, provided an excellent setting for Coordinators to network with one another, learn about specific offerings at ISEP institutions, and perhaps even collect a few free pens.  Meanwhile, a nearby coffee service offered refreshments for participants as they enjoyed catching up with colleagues or wandering among the displays. 

The member fairs are a REALLY important way to meet people you might not have met to that point. There is NO substitute for standing behind a table with your information, trading business cards, making the name-face connections, and chatting breezily for a few minutes about one's institution.
