SUMMER SNAPSHOT

Spend a summer experiencing Argentine culture and learning Spanish at the beginner and intermediate levels through the Universidad Blas Pascal. This program offers students the opportunity to live with host families; engage in cultural workshops such as tango, horseback riding, and Argentine cooking lessons; and take advantage of a number of exciting excursions to areas in and around Córdoba.

PROGRAM TYPE

ISEP-Direct Summer for all ISEP member students    

COURSES

Classes meet three hours a day, five days a week. Students earn a total of 60 credit hours for the four-week program and 90 credit hours for the six-week program.

SPECIAL ACADEMIC CONDITIONS

Minimum prerequisite: Sophomore-level status.

LANGUAGE NOTES

Upon arrival, students take a placement test to determine the appropriate language class for their level. Depending on their level of language proficiency, students may enroll in either the six-week (beginner level) or four-week (intermediate and advanced level) program. Note: The host institution ultimately determines proficiency level and course eligibility.
Eligibility for the 6-Week Beginner Program: 2 semesters of university-level Spanish or the equivalent.
Eligibility for the 4-Week Intermediate Program: 3 semesters of university-level Spanish or the equivalent.

HOUSING AND MEALS

Students are housed with Argentinean host families. All meals and laundry service are included.
